Our authentication policy is simple. Each and every single autographed item offered within our weekly auction is GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC FOREVER to the original purchaser, backed with Todd Mueller's 40+ year experience and reputation.

Todd Mueller relies on his vast experience and other factors including provenance when authenticating items accepted for auction. It is important to note that third party authentication firms are only issuing an opinion, not a guarantee. For this reason, we do not rely on third-party opinion letters and do not accept them as a form of authentication. For an autographed item to be offered for sale at Todd Mueller Autographs, it first must pass authentication by at least one expert of our peers who has a minimum 15 years of documented experience in that field of collectible.

The Todd Mueller Autographs Full Letter of Authenticity (LOA) will be supplied with all autographed items selling for $25 or more. This authenticity features a large color image of the product and updated branding, such as the Todd Mueller Certified Authentic embossed logo found in the bottom right corner.

Return Policy

In order to return a purchased item for reason of authenticity and receive a refund from Todd Mueller Autographs under our Lifetime Guarantee Policy, one must be the original purchaser and be able to submit a letter of denial from any two companies from the Trusted Autograph Dealers List posted below.

The following list, very carefully compiled, is of those autograph dealers and auction houses that pass muster in the Credible Authenticity Library. The list consists of those who have clean records with regard to their associations and reputations in the industry, lack of ethics complaints and continue to remain unassociated with those who issue opinion COA’s, i.e. pieces of paper that state opinions, not guarantees. These are autograph professionals who bare witness to signings and/or have spent years of research to conclude authenticity. Above all else, these trusted dealers fully stand behind their Guarantee of Authenticity.
